About us
Located in Burgos, crossroads of international routes, and with the best access in 4 minutes from the highway, less than 8 minutes from the city center and at the same time, in the countryside, adjacent to the Special Protection Zone of “La Cartuja de Miraflores”, in a valley with a stream, we have managed to create a special environment for the care of sport horses.
With the experience accumulated over the last 40 years with sport horses, we present an innovative project for horse care:
Type of meadows
GREEN GATES has 22 hectares of land with 20 grass paddocks of various sizes, with ups and downs, flat, according to the orography of the land, all of them with a top quality white PVC fence with heights of 150cm (and also 180cm for stallions); On the other hand, the size of each meadow is different, and you can find them of practically all sizes (from the smallest ones of 3000m2, to those of almost 2 hectares, through some of 5000, 7000 meters). There are also paddocks of 300 to 400 meters. Not all horses are the same, nor do they have the same needs: in the meadows we can put a single horse (a stallion for example), or a mare with her foal, or groups of 2, 3 and even 4 depending on their character or needs. All meadows have a water fountain and a shed.
Unbeatable blocks.
Constructed of wood and metal, we have 110 large wooden boxes with a thickness of 6 cm. with dimensions that vary between 3.50 x 3.50 m to 4.5x5 meters as well as special boxes for mares with foals. At the back, the boxes have an individual paddock measuring 5 m x 3.50 m or a window. On days when they do not go out to the meadow (for example, due to severe frost), the horse can choose between going out to the inner paddock or staying in the box.

A combination of seeds calculated so that the animal's diet is as balanced as possible.
Green all year long
To maintain the use of meadows all year round, we have invested in the best irrigation technology under digitalized control so that we can maintain good grass even in the hottest months.
Night stabling
Horses will be stabled overnight unless the client requests that they remain in the paddock with their shed.
Feeding
Complement with various types of feed, depending on the age of the horse, etc., according to what the client requests.
Other services
Blankets, depending on the temperature, blankets will be put on or taken off. Daily cleaning of hooves upon returning from the meadow. Tack room and showers service. In extra service, electric walker, washing blankets, removing horseshoes, farriery.
Qualified team
Professionals (veterinarian, farrier) and people dedicated to the care of horses.
Periodic information to the client about the condition of their horse:I send photos, messages, and webcams so you can see your horse in the meadows.
